GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring tripeptide-copper complex found in human plasma, whose concentration declines with age. It is widely studied in dermatological and regenerative research for its role in extracellular matrix remodeling, collagen synthesis and skin repair processes. Its powder carries the characteristic blue tint of complexed copper.

Prepare the working solution by letting bacteriostatic water run down the inner wall of the vial, without agitation. A blue tint is normal: it reflects the copper–peptide complex, not degradation. Confirm complete dissolution before analytical use; store labeled aliquots (lot number, preparation date) at 2–8 °C.
